The Celebrity Gossip Machine

There is something in the newspapers daily about one star or another who is being gossiped about; in fact, these poor celebrities can't go anywhere without people making comments about their personal life. Not surprisingly, many people know way more about Paris Hilton or Britney Spears than they know about the new president Barack Obama of the United States. When these same celebrities are doing good work volunteering and supporting charities somewhere, their name is not half as mentioned as when they mess up. Normally, the gossip and news reports skyrocket when celebrities make fools of themselves, get caught out having a night of fun, break the laws somehow, or wind up being sued by someone for silly reasons.

It's unfortunate that we don't hear more good news about our favorite celebrities; instead, the magazines want to make money so they report as much gossip concerning the celebrities as possible. Whether it's divorce, a quick annulment, domestic violence, or a ticket for driving under the influence or without a license, you're going to hear about it on celebrity gossip sites.

One of the reasons that gossip is so popular is the fact that people love to read gossip. This is the fact, it's documented, and it's still being documented today. Anytime that you see your favorite stars headlining a news article, whether it's good or bad, you're going to click on it. People become fascinated with those stars that continue to be gossiped about so pretty soon every time you see their name in print, you click on it. In this way, the number of people who read this gossip is tracked. Making the star more popular, making the news hounds want more gossip to make more money.

It really is sad how is a celebrity has messed up and their name gets in the news, and yet many of the good works that these celebrities do is never read on a daily basis. During the war in Iraq many, many stars have spent time, money and donated needed supplies to different areas within the war effort and yet you rarely see their name mentioned. It's up to the community who reads the news, what type of news is put on the airwaves. If you prefer to read about the good works, then make sure that you're clicking on those good work news stories more than you are clicking on the gossipy ones.

Celebrity gossip is quite entertaining and fun to read and lets you keep up with your favorite celebrity--just make sure you are not promoting paparazzi harassment on your favorite star by only clicking on those simple gossipy news stories, but instead try to click frequently on all of the good news stories about your favorite celebrities.
