Casted as Gabriel Montez for High School Musical with the Disney Channel she became an overnight success. In fact, she and Zac Efron hit it big with many different teenage audiences and are now considered two of the hottest teen celebrities.

She made her first debut on television as one of the extras for Are You Afraid of the Dark a horror theme series created for children.
